In the sweet valley series, there are places mentioned in the books. Here are some of them:



Fowler Crest
a magnificent Spanish-style mansion that Lila Fowler and her father shared in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Sweet Valley.



Sweet Valley Child Care Center
a community center for low-income parents to leave their children under the care of an adult while they are on their work. The Unicorn club got into trouble and were punished by having to perform 30 hours of service at the Child Care Center. They eventually liked it, so after their "punishment" was done, they started volunteering at the Center a couple afternoons a week. The Angels also volunteers in there.

    Obviously, the mall in there. Inside the mall, there are shops that are mentioned:



    * Casey's Ice Cream Parlor
    an ice-cream parlor which is one of Elizabeth and Jessica's favorite hangouts in the Sweet Valley Twins series.



    * Lisette
    Jessica and Lila's favorite clothing boutique. The outfits in there are so expensive that Jessica sometimes couldn't afford it.



    * Bibi's
    Another one of Jessica favorite clothing boutique.



    * Sedona
    a make-up store where Elizabeth had worked part-time in the SVHSY series.



    * Valley Fashions
    a boutique at Sweet Valley Mall.



    Dairi Burger
    Sweet Valley High's most popular hangout. Every student goes there after class. However, it got destroyed from the earthquake.



    The Moonbeach
    a restaurant in Sweet Valley. This is mainly featured in the SVH tv series, but seldom in the SVH books. In the show, Winston Egbert (Micheal Perl) was working in there.



    Miller's Point
    a rocky cliff that had an incredible view overlooking Sweet Valley to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the West. Known also as the make-out spot of the SVH couples.



    Beach Disco
    a favorite hangout of the twins when partying with friends. It was built off a rocky overcropping that jutted out onto the beach, with the dance floor suspended over the ocean on tall stilts.



    Secca Lake
    a lake found in Sweet Valley. This is where the twins had barbecues, parties and camp-outs with their friends and picnics with their family.



    Plaza Theater
    an old classic movie house where Elizabeth have gone quite often with her friends and on a date with Todd.



    Joshua Fowler Memorial Hospital
    a hospital owned by Lila's family. It was named after her grandfather, Joshua Fowler.



    Guido's Pizza Palace
    a pizza restaurant which is sometimes mentioned in the SVTwins and SVH series. In SVHSY, Jade works there as part-time worker after she had gotten fired from First and Ten and House of Java.



    L' Autre Chose
    a chic coffee bar near Sweet Valley Mall.



    Jackson's Bluff
    a high ridge overlooking one of the best surfing beaches in southern California. Known as the make-out spot for the Big Mesa kids.



    Lake Tahoe
    a clear mountain lake just a few miles away from Sweet Valley.



    Hunts Photography
    a photo studio where Elizabeth and Jessica had gotten their pictures taken as a surprise Christmas present for their parents.



    Jackson's Foreign Cars
    an auto shop where Jessica used to flirt with the mechanics while the old Fiat Spiders that the twins used to share was being repaired.



    Silver Door
    one of the most exclusive salons in Sweet Valley.



    Mata Hari's
    a boutique where Elizabeth & Jessica had gotten their prom dresses.



    The Fast Lane
    a bowling alley where Elizabeth had occasionally gone with friends.



    Simple Splendor
    a boutique at the Valley Mall. Jessica had borrowed their gown to wear it in the Miss Teen Sweet Valley pageant.



    Shady Lady
    one of the sleaziest bars in Sweet Valley.



    North's Jewelry Store
    a jewelry store at the Valley Mall.



    Castillo San Angelo
    a beautiful Spanish mansion with a restaurant and public gardens. This was where Elizabeth has her secret date with Sam Woodruff and later with Todd.



    Kelly's Roadhouse
    a seedy bar and had the most notorious reputation of any bar in the whole valley.



    Izzy's Incredible Ice Cream
    an ice cream parlor located at El Carro. This was the meeting place of Quarter (Ken Matthews) and Freeverse (Olivia Davidson) in the SVH book, Mystery Date.



    Chez Sam
    one of the poshest restaurants in Sweet Valley.



    Castle Cove
    a secluded, white-sand beach surrounded bt tall cliffs.



    Leeward Isles
    a popular restaurant.



    Cypress Point Cafe
    a tiny, secluded, very expensive and romantic restaurant overlooking the surf on Crescent Beach.



    Hampshire Place
    a new mall in Sunset Hills, a nearby town in Sweet Valley.



    Crescent Beach
    a beach in Sweet Valley. This was were Olivia Davidsons' ashes were scattered at the ending of the SVH series and Conner McDermott partied with his friends in the SVH: Senior Year series.

  • The Riot
    a night club where Elizabeth, Jessica and their friends hangout in the SVHSY series. Angel Desmond worked there part-time as a means of earning money before going to Stanford University for college.



    House of Java
    a coffee shop where Jessica and Jeremy works which is also found in the SVHSY series. It is owned by Mrs. Scott and managed by her daughter Ally. Other workers include Corey Scott (Ally's sister), Suzanne, Nancy and Danny.



    Garden of Eatin'
    a restaurant where Evan loves to eat and usually goes there after his swim practice. He bought Jessica there on a date in the SVHSY book #15 On my own and later Jade and Jessica on book #27 Playing Dirty.



    Healthy
    a health food store where Jessica had worked part-time at the beginning of the SVHSY series, but had gotten fired from her job after Elizabeth failed to show up on her shift.



    The Shack
    a club in Palisades which was mentioned in the SVH: Senior Year series. Conner McDermott had a gig in there.



    Fantasy Island Fun House
    a kiddie arcade where Jessica and Jeremy Aames had their first date and Jeremy had celebrated his 18th birthday in the SVH:SY series.



    Al Fresco's
    a health-food restaurant on the beach that Evan Plummer had cajoled his friends into going there.

  • Coffee House
    a coffee shop near Sweet Valley University. Small wooden tables covered with small white cups and flower vases cluttered its main floor.



    Organic Palace
    Sweet Valley's popular health food store.



    Fraternity Row
    an area called by the SVU students where all the fraternity and sorority houses lined both sides of the street.



    Oldies but Goodies Theatre
    a movie theater in Sweet Valley that shows classic films.



    Yum-Yum's
    a hip, just barely off-campus coffee bar where Jessica had worked part time in the SVU series.



    The Duplex
    an off-campus apartment where Elizabeth and Jessica shared together with Sam Burgess and Neil Martin in the latter part of the SVU series.



    Hollow House
    an abandoned mansion on the edge of the Sweet Valley University campus.



    Valley House
    a home for abandoned and abused children.



    Blue Lagoon
    a dive bar near the SVU campus that was popular with the grad-school crowd.

    a town found in Sweet Valley. Its highschool got destroyed from the earthquake that the school administration sent 500 of their students to Sweet Valley High and the rest in Big Mesa while it is being repaired.



    Big Mesa
    a town where Jeremy and Trent lives.



    Bridgewater
    a wealthy community fifteen minutes away from Sweet Valley. Sam Woodruff lived in here.



    Palisades
    a town where Jessica's ex-boyfriend Christian Gorman had lived.

    the school where Elizabeth & Jessica were in second grade in the Sweet Valley Kids series.



    Sweet Valley Middle School
    the school where Elizabeth & Jessica attended during their sixth and seventh grade.

    there had been a school rezone, so Elizabeth & Jessica were transferred to Sweet Valley Junior High instead of continuing at SV Middle School.



    Sweet Valley High
    the school where Elizabeth & Jessica attended during their highschool years.



    Sweet Valley University
    the school where Elizabeth & Jessica attended during their freshman and sophomore years in college.



    Big Mesa High
    Sweet Valley High's rival school.



    El Carro High
    another school in Sweet Valley. El Carro High was destroyed from the earthquake at the end of the SVH series. Half of its students were transferred to Sweet Valley High while the rest are in Big Mesa High.



    Bridgewater High
    the school where Sam Woodruff attended.



    Palisades High
    the school where Christian Gorman attended. This is where the Battle of the Junior Classes was held.



    Lovett Academy
    a private school about a half hour away from Sweet Valley.



    Whitehead Academy
    a exclusive private girls' school up the coast in Bridgewater.



    Orange County College
    the college where Sam Burgess attended.



    Hillhaven Preparatory Academy
    one of the most expensive and exclusive boarding schools in the country.
