Great news---after much technical tinkering… the official SWEET VALLEY CONFIDENTIAL: TEN YEARS LATER campaign has begun.
As of this morning, we’ve launched www.SweetValleyTenYearsLater.com & and we’re officially releasing the first chapter of the book to anyone who signs up to be a Sweet Valley “Super Fan.” We have a lot of fun stuff lined up for SUPER FANS over the next several months—much of which we took from the blogger summit here!—including original stories by Francine Pascal, t-shirt & other giveaways, a chance to ask Francine your questions, ecards “from the characters” of Sweet Valley, quizzes, polls and more…

If we're to believe the information up on the Macmillan website... SVC is now able to be pre-ordered from their website (other sites have yet to release any info) & is to be released under the RRP of $21.99; consisting of no more than 304 pages.
A mock up cover is also on preview & the date has been pushed back to the slightly later time of the 29th - whether these details are confirmed or not, I guess we'll have to see...

Reading the Adolescent Romance: Sweet Valley High and the Popular Young Adult Romance Novel
Hey guys! How's it going? Sorry I haven't been updating lately...I've been upset for the past couple of weeks because my stupid sv_forever1 email account got hacked and the hacker ended up hacking my friendster and facebook accounts as well. What also sucks is, that the Sweet Valley Unlimited Yahoo! Group has been DELETED by the stupid hacker as well. I was afraid that this website might get hacked because that email account has all the registered details of the SV Unlimited website...So i've asked Yahoo to delete my account and now I have to create all new Yahoo, Friendster and Facebook accounts and have to ask everyone that I know to re-add me as a friend. Gosh, this is absolutely annoying.
On a brighter note, I was browsing through Google and found out that Routledge publication (a publication based in UK) will be releasing a hardback on Sweet Valley High!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The book will be called "Reading the Adolescent Romance book: Sweet Valley High and the Popular Young Adult Romance Novel" and it is scheduled to be released on 30 December 2010. Isn't this great? I'm totally psyched for this book, and also loving the contents posted on that website. Plus, we have something to look forward to while waiting for the release of Sweet Valley Confidential.
As some of you may have already read over at 1bruce1 - a Sweet Valley Summit was held over in NYC last Monday 14th June, to talk about and brainstorm a range of ideas, as to what possible suggestion & ideas could be put in place to commemorate the release of Sweet Valley Confidential - which has been given the confirmation date of a March 11th, 2011 release. Unfortunately, neither of us were able to attend the conference - having had been invited to do so - however, we do have some collected information for you to read & some pictures for you to have a look at. We would especially like to thank Sarah Goldstein & all the other reps over at St. Martins for allowing us to use their pictures - of which they took on that day.

Hey guys! Sorry that I haven't been able to update in awhile. It's because i've been busy with work for the past 2 weeks. I travelled to Davao last June 1-5, 2010 to act as a secretariat in a workshop, I then got promoted and will move to another office hopefully this July, so have been working on the requirements for my appointment papers to be processed...... Anyway, I'm back and happy to update once again.

Sweet Valley Cast Updates
Hi there! How's everyone? I'm glad the site is back up again, as a couple of days ago the site was down and I had to refresh it several times in order for the pages to load... so, i'm happy the site is all fixed. Just added several pictures over into the Photo Gallery, where I've added more photos of Bridget Flanery from her theater performance of "The Psychic" which was performed at the Falcon Theatre last March 26-April 18, 2010. I found out that Harley Rodriguez (Manny Lopez on SVH) is now working as a fitness instructor for a gym called Barry's Bootcamp in Los Angeles. So for those who wanna get fit, you can check out Barry's Bootcamp. Who knows, you might even end up with Harley as your instructor.

Haaaaappppppy Bank Holiday Monday - to those of you lucky enough to be off from work today! Ms. good-girl saddo that I am...i'm stuck indoors today finalising my last bits of assignments & stuff before I head off for a quick break to NY next week to see my family, plus... Vonda Shepard - howwww COOOOL huh? :D Yes I'm excited...actually more like THRILLED...this'll be the 1st time i'll be seeing her perform... so needless to say this'll be my last update for this month.
So ok, on w/ the updates...
First up, the Books section has a new page added entitled [Books in Merchandise] - where I've scanned in the SVH doll book; Jessica's Story - I'll put the other 2 up as soon as I'm able to find them on my absolute mess of a hard drive I have at the moment, but hopefully these'll keep you happy for the time being!
Also a new page entitled Fan-art - has been added to the [Miscellanous] section, where I've added some stuff I did a while back, as well as some images made by Nurcin of SVH Cental & a couple a certain Mr. Jesse made back when he was absolutely fascinated by the idea of blonde twinnies, ickh... *cringe* lol. ... just messin' - luv you really :0)
...and lastly, a full book/ check list - of every book title within the series - can now be download from our Books>[Booklist] page in the shape of a handy .pdf file.

BNA Talent Group posted on their facebook page that Amy Danles has booked the West Hills Hospital Commercial! Congrats to Amy! Let's hope this commercial will be aired soon.
I updated Sweet Valley Fonts where Tia Ramirez and Evan Plummer's fonts are now available for download and I found Melissa Fox's font which is now available for download as well.

MTV picks up teen shows in scripted drama drive - 4 March, 2010 | By Alex Farber
MTV has acquired hit US scripted dramas The Secret Life Of The American Teenager and archive series Sweet Valley High from ABC as it puts a renewed focus on the genre. The shows will air on the main MTV channel and further drama acquisitions are planned as the channel seeks to put the genre at the heart of its strategy.
Two series of The Secret Life Of The American Teenager (11 x 60-minutes and 12 x 60-minutes) are scheduled to air in the UK on Sundays from 4 April. The series features an intelligent 16 year-old who unexpectedly becomes pregnant, and follows her experiences at high school and with her family and friends. In the US, the show recorded ABC Family’s highest-ever viewing figures among key teen and adult audiences in January.
The 22 x 30-minute first series of Sweet Valley High, which was made in the mid ’90s, will start airing daily from 19 April. Heather Jones, EVP director of television for MTV Networks UK & Ireland, said scripted drama had been earmarked as a vital genre for the channel due to its close fit with the brand and broad female appeal.
“It’s another genre we should be serving our audience. This is what they expect, so let’s address that,” said Jones. “We can’t just dip our toe in, we need to commit properly and buy a handful of scripted drama shows.” Jones ruled out commissioning from the UK because of the high costs involved and difficulty in getting the format right. She also pointed to the strength of the MTV brand as being able to catapult shows to success by bringing them “kudos with our aspirational, noisy, trend-setting audience”.

II Layout Revamp II
Laaaayout revamp; only cos it's the Daniel twins' 34th coming up soon (March 17th/ St. Patrick's Day) and I was getting a bit tired of looking at pink & red stripes eveywhere with the old one, haha. Anyways, in terms of updates - we've added 2 new section to the left hand Navigation entitled [Confidential] & [Miscellaneous] - these are both still kind of up in the air - and both works in progress in getting it all up 'n' together - seeing as both of us are extremely busy with work commitments & myself w/ Uni right now... sooo, we'll try to get it sorted when we can. For now though, within the Miscellaneous section, we have icons based on various SV book covers, which _starsprite from the sweetvalley: live journal has kindly allowed us to use. Massive thanks to her for that! :0)
Also, the Books section has also been updated with info on the 2 abridged paperbacks (Secrets #2 & Stolen Diary #84) which were published in the UK in 1999. Thanks goes to a certain Ms. Laura (jessicawakefield) of Complete Sweet Valley, for highlighting this to our attention! =^_^=

|| The Multimedia Update ||
As promised, we now have up (most of) the audio files - taken from all 4 seasons of the SVH TV Show - up for download within our Multimedia> Audio>[SVH TV Show] section. Time duration's on files do vary (from 10secs - 2:00mins), quality of files are from good-excellent (most CD quality) & lyrics have been transcribed by us by having had listened to all the files back2back an insane amount of times (so no duplicating .......unless you ask :0)) These don't really serve much of a purpose - unless you're looking for a particular song/lyrics from a certain episode - also, if anyone has any song requests (from any particular ep) feel free to let us know - detailing which scene it is & what episode it's from - and we'll try & get it uploaded for you. Video files of all these music-scenes & montages to follow later this year.
...aaand, screencaps from all 22 episodes of SVH Season 2 are now up within our [SVH Episode Screencaps] section of the Gallery.
Hey guys, I saw a comment over at Shannon's Sweet Valley High Blog from Sarah Jae-Jones, who is an editorial assistant at St. Martin’s Press - the publisher of Sweet Valley Confidential. She said that Sweet Valley Confidential will be published in 2011. They are interested in promoting the book online and receive any inputs/comments from us Sweet Valley fans. Here is the content of her email to me:

Thanks for contacting me! We’re pretty excited about SWEET VALLEY CONFIDENTIAL and I’m glad to see others are too. As of right now, we’re thinking of a February 2011 publication date for the novel. Nothing has been finalized yet (aside from the fact that it WILL be published J), but I will definitely send you a press release with more details that you can announce on your site. At the moment it is a standalone story about Jessica and Elizabeth in their late 20s, but if the fans want more I know Francine would definitely love to continue the series. We’re trying to gauge potential readership, especially as those of us who grew up with the series (even if they haven’t read it) are constantly online, absorbing information, discussing with other fans, etc. If you don’t mind me asking, do you know what your website stats are? How many visitors you get, how big the community is, etc. I’d love to keep up a dialogue with you about this and let you know more about the publication process for Francine’s newest book; let me know if you’re interested! Neat update today :) where I've uploaded the first - out of 4 - comic-strip based stories, based on plotlines within the SVK book series...

Hey guys! How's it going? Sorry I haven't been updating lately...I've been upset for the past couple of weeks because my stupid sv_forever1 email account got hacked and the hacker ended up hacking my friendster and facebook accounts as well. What also sucks is, that the Sweet Valley Unlimited Yahoo! Group has been DELETED by the stupid hacker as well. 
I was afraid that this website might get hacked because that email account has all the registered details of the SV Unlimited website...So i've asked Yahoo to delete my account and now I have to create all new Yahoo, Friendster and Facebook accounts and have to ask everyone that I know to re-add me as a friend. Gosh, this is absolutely annoying. 
As some of you may have already read over at 1bruce1 - a Sweet Valley Summit was held over in NYC last Monday 14th June, to talk about and brainstorm a range of ideas, as to what possible suggestion & ideas could be put in place to commemorate the release of Sweet Valley Confidential - which has been given the confirmation date of a March 11th, 2011 release.
Hey guys! Sorry that I haven't been able to update in awhile. It's because i've been busy with work for the past 2 weeks. I travelled to Davao last June 1-5, 2010 to act as a secretariat in a workshop, I then got promoted and will move to another office hopefully this July, so have been working on the requirements for my appointment papers to be processed...... Anyway, I'm back and happy to update once again.

The Photo Gallery has again been updated with additional screencaps from SVH Season 3. It's almost done, and I will soon be working on the screencaps for SVH Season 4. 
The Multimedia> Video Files> [SVH Guest Stars] section has been updated with a 2 min Q & A interview with Power Rangers Star… Jason David Frank. The below clip sees Jason talking about his 1996 special guest appearance - as A.J. Morgan - on the SVH TV Show, where he features within the 4 back2back episode arc lot: 3x11 Rock Around The Block, 3x12 Lofty Ambitions, 3x13 Shakes, Fries & Videotape & 3x14 A Star is Torn...
