Trivia:
The show was a hit syndication on FOX, but it moved to UPN for its 4th season, after which, it was cancelled due to poor ratings.
During the whole 4 years of the show being on air, we never really fully see anybody's parents. We only hear the twins' parents in Season 1 Episode 6 ‘Almost Married’, and catch a glimpse of Shred's dad twice in Season 3.
Michael Hayashida, joined the cast in the middle of the first season, as foreign exchange student Koichi. He was featured ‘til the end of the season, but subsequently then disappeared, never to be mentioned again. Patty Gilbert also disappeared without any explanation, just before the beginning of the second season. Bruce Patman was the only character whose sudden disappearance was actually explained.
Amy Danles, who played Enid Rollins, and Manley Pope, who played Devon Whitelaw are married in real life. They have 2 children.
Bridget Flanery, who played Lila Fowler, and Ryan Bittle, who played Todd Wilkins, actually dated while they were starring in the show.
The majority of the songs - on the one & only official SVH Soundtrack - were mostly sang by Kathy Fisher/ Fisher the Band, those of which include the main opening intro theme, as well as, tracks which were played in the background during scenes at The Moonbeach.
